Meet the Redesigned 2017 Subaru Impreza Sedan
For 2017 the legendary Subaru Impreza has been totally revamped from the ground up! A new chassis allows for more room inside, and a stiffer structure means this new Impreza is both safer and more dynamically involving than last year’s model.
And yet for all the various improvements, the 2017 Impreza remains true to the qualities that made it such a success in the first place: affordability, reliability, economy, and (of course) four-wheel drive traction. Plus drivers across London, Ontario will be happy to hear that you can once again choose between sedan and hatchback body styles to meet your needs for space and style.
Come discover the 2017 Subaru Impreza for yourself at Subaru of London. We carry plenty of examples in our New Subaru Inventory, as well as a great selection of pre-owned examples from as recently as 2016 in our Used Subaru Inventory. Either way, you’ll discover what makes a Subaru a Subaru.
Subaru Impreza Model Lineup
The new Subaru Impreza is available as either a four-door sedan or five-door sport hatchback, and comes in four seperate trim levels: Convenience, Touring, Sport, and Sport-Tech. Every Impreza now comes standard with items like a 6.5-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, and redesigned seats for more comfort and support.
The legendary WRX returns as well. It made itself an icon of the World Rally Championship when Colin McRae took the WRC driver’s championship in 1995, and was known on the streets for its irresistible combination of a turbocharged boxer engine and all-wheel drive. The modern WRX takes the model to new heights of forced induction bliss with a wheel churning 305 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque (WRX STI).
Subaru Impreza Performance & Economy
Every Impreza model features a four-cylinder Subaru Boxer engine. The Boxer engine design is unique in that pistons move horizontally, and the flat engine design lends itself well to a very low center of gravity. By sitting lower in the car and saving weight over more traditional engine designs that require balancing shafts or counterweights, cars with Boxer engines have better control and stability.
All Impreza models feature a revised naturally aspirated 2.0L engine with a fuel economy of 8.3/6.4 L/100km (City/Highway) when equipped with an automatic transmission (CVT), which now features a seven-speed manual mode for when you want to take control. One can’t mention Subaru without mentioning their legendary symmetrical full-time AWD system. It’s at the core of the Impreza’s all-weather capability and handling – something other cars can’t match in its class.
Subaru Impreza Interior
The 2017 Impreza might classify as a compact car, but the interior is a different story. There’s room for five plus cargo, and 60/40 split folding rear seats to give you room to pack longer loads. The interior is decked out with premium materials, while available leather seating gives you the luxury you’ve been missing. The standard AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA audio system includes an auxiliary input for your MP3 or other audio device, and all models feature iPod/USB audio integration as well as Bluetooth® connectivity.
Subaru Impreza Exterior
Choose your adventure. The Impreza comes in two styles – four-door sedan and a sporty 5-door hatchback. From the stare of its signature hawk-eye headlights to its distinct wheel arches and Subaru hexagonal grille, the Impreza is sportier than ever. Options include an available power-sliding sunroof for a great view or a cool breeze on a hot summer day. Sport models add distinguishing LED turn signals for improved visibility and a unique style.
