Comfort and utility are at the forefront of the 2020 Subaru Ascent’s design. Third-row seating allows drivers to carry up to six additional passengers with three-zone climate control. Perfect for London, ON winters, even the entry-level model offers heated front seats with an 8-way power-adjustable drivers chair. The 2020 Ascent is equipped with a 6.5” touch screen monitor and 18” steel alloy wheels that are easily upgraded to 8” and 20” respectively in premium trims. A sunroof, 14-speaker sound system, power-folding side mirrors, GPS navigation system and leather upholstery are also available with premium trims.
Subaru Ascent Specs
True to the Subaru brand, the 2020 Subaru Ascent does not sacrifice performance for comfort. The Ascent features Subaru’s turbocharged 2.4L 4-Cylinder Subaru Boxer engine paired with a state-of-the-art high-torque CVT transmission. The resulting output is 260 hp, 277 lb-ft of torque, and a highway mileage of 9.0L/100 km. Of course, the Ascent is driven by Subaru’s Symmetrical Full-Time AWD system, but is paired with a new long-travel suspension system for improved comfort when driving off-road.
Subaru Ascent Safety
The 2020 Subaru Ascent comes equipped with an array of safety features, many of which are standard. Starting with the high-strength collision reinforcement frame, the Ascent is designed to naturally offer 360 degrees of visibility to the road surrounding your car. Injury reducing seats and seatbelts and a breakaway drivetrain are optimized for collision safety. Additionally, ultra-modern technology such as driver assistance (adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, etc.), smart rearview mirror, reverse automatic braking, and vehicle dynamic control work in concert to provide the safest driving experience possible.
The 2020 Subaru Ascent is now here at Subaru of London in Ontario. Keep an eye on our new vehicle inventory or contact us to pre-schedule a test drive.
